Born Herman Dirk van Dodeweerd, Armando was considered one of Holland's leading conceptual artists and painters. In addition, he received significant recognition for his work in journalism, literature, children's writing and orchestral and chamber music.
"Das Rad" - "The Wheel" - a large scale limited edition lithograph, is a reference to Armando's iconic bronze sculpture "Das Rad" from 1992.
