Raoul Ubac (Belgian,1910-1985)

Ubac was a Belgian painter, sculptor and photographer who lived in Paris from the 1930's when he moved to that city to work with the surrealist group active there at that time. His work appears in the collections of major museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA. His work is the subject of posthumous exhibitions by major galleries and appears regularly at auction.
