RFM McInnis was born in Saint John, New Brunswick in 1942 and spent five years as a photographer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was made a member of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society in 2017 in recognition of his stunning Canadian landscape painting. He lives and works in Laval, Quebec.
